My name is Charles Hayes IV (he/him). I am an Artist, Optimist, Empath, and Man of God. Professionally, I am a Producer (Line & Creative), Production Manager, Project Manager, and Accountant. I move in light, with love, peace, and patience at the forefront. I believe in elevating artists and helping them achieve their visions. Whether it be a film, a play, a series, a PSA, or even a renovation - my goal is to support artists in bringing their projects to life. I do that through script development, budget creation, budget management, orchestrating and executing plans, and always being adaptable to any team. I bring a left-brained mentality with an eye for the creative expression of a right-brained individual.

I'm originally from Prince George's County, MD. I spent time in Atlanta as a kid and during college, and ultimately found my professional stomping grounds in New York City. I've worked in the production industry since 2012 and have been a Producer since 2014. Call me cliche, but I get sheer joy from having an idea on paper and possessing the knowledge and skillsets to bring it to life for others to experience. At the beginning of my career, I got behind any story I could to gain experience, but I have since transitioned to being more selective. There are SO many stories in the world that aren't being told or seen, and I want to bridge that gap.

Through my work...
I want to shed light on marginalized communities and the beauty of our truths.
I want to start dialogues about and shatter stereotypes of the Black and LGBTQ+ communities.
I want to make films that speak to themes we've lost sight of -- altruism, unconditional love, faith, inspiration, and truth. [Don't get me wrong, an action thriller is always fun, but what are we making it for?]
I even want to make animated movies that embody the realities of what it means to be human.
I want to be part of stories that leave you feeling changed.

You may have learned something new. Perhaps you stepped away from a preconceived notion. Maybe you believe in love again. Maybe you're inspired to dream again. Or perhaps you feel affected with no real explanation. Art should challenge you, change you, and grow you, and that is what I intend to do with my work.

If anything I've said has resonated with you, and you have a project you want to make, shoot me a message, and let's see where it takes us. Until then, stay blessed and stay curious!
